I have no retirees available at this time
Occasionally I have retirees available for a forever pet home.
These are maltese who have been shown and finished and have had a
few litters of puppies (and now "retired"). The intent in placing them in a
forever home is so they can be a papmpered pup and enjoy being a pet.
Yes, they are typically shaved down as there is no reason to have a show coat
once they are finished, and it allows them more comfort when they are
nursing puppies. Their hair can always be grown out, if you choose.
